AIR CONNECTION

It has the 3rd busiest airport in Greece. It operates throughout the year and is located 16km southwest of Rhodes town.

FERRY CONNECTION

It has 3 ports and 1 marina. The island of Rhodes has daily ferry connections with Piraeus and the rest of the Dodecanese.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The area of the center is served by the Municipal Transport Company "RODA". For long journeys "KTEL RHODES" is used. The city has a fleet of about 400 taxis which cover urban and intercity routes.

Rhodes has a Mediterranean climate with sunshine most days of the year. July is the hottest month with an average temperature of 26 °C while January is the coldest month at 12 °C. The rain month is December with an average rainfall of 141 mm.
